Institutional projects include libraries, public and private schools, university buildings, museums, research facilities, hospitals, religious facilities, courthouses, visitor centers, fire stations, and similar municipal facilities, as well as others. Commercial projects have included office buildings, hotels, resorts, retail buildings, production facilities, storage buildings, hangars, pools, corporate structures, and similar buildings.
In the residential category, projects include condominium and apartment structures as well as single-family residences. However, within the single-family residential sector, PL: BECS primarily becomes involved with extremely high-end projects, whose typically greater complexity of systems warrants highly technical input. A very large majority of single-family projects fall in the multi-million dollar range, though most of these can not be included in this brochure due to strict client confidentiality restrictions.
